We’re a husband and wife team who have been seriously bitten by the open water swimming bug! We founded HUT so that we can help the growing number of people make the most of being submerged in open water. We are passionate about delivering really good value and great quality products so that you can get out there and enjoy the open water.
We started this journey just before the global pandemic hit and we are not surprised to witness the growing popularity of this sport/pass-time/passion! The mental and physical benefits of open water and cold water swimming are well documented. We have experienced them for ourselves and watched as they have brought much joy and release to many others.
We are constantly developing our product range and will be introducing new kit soon.
We aim to keep you safe, warm and dry whilst having fun in the water. As an added bonus our quality products are universally useful and can be used for many other outdoor activities – open water swimming and beyond!

The HUT range of swim buoys are where our journey started. The quality is second to none and we have developed a range of sizes and colours to suit your needs and personal style preferences.
The HUT robe is waterproof, warm and useful beyond an open water swim. We know surfers, kayakers, SUP-ers and even dog-walkers love the HUT robe and its uses are endless. If it’s cold outside you can use your HUT robe!
And from autumn 2021 we have the new HUT change poncho. Super soft, thick microfibre change towels – very handy indeed!
It is now well-documented that open water swimming is good for you. The mental and physical health benefits are loved by all those who give it a go. Whether you’re a ‘skins’ swimmer (very brave!) or use a wetsuit, the joy of being in open/cold water is hard to beat. In addition, the camaraderie and support that comes from fellow open water swimmers is a complete joy and forms an important part of this popular newly discovered activity.
